Port Roper road access

Post by COOPS »

Hi all, I'm looking at heading to Port Roper in a couple of weeks.

Struggling to find much info on the road condition. There is nothing on the NT Road website about it being closed. The Limmen Blight site says its closed but if you ring the ranger station the recorded message says just to take care on some roads that are declared closed on their web site.

Anyone got any info or know who to contact for some accurate info. Long way to go to be turned around.

Thanks in advance.

Coops

The servo at Mataranka, the pub at Mataranka and/or the community store at Ngukurr will all know.

The guy who takes the supplies down to the crabbers @ Port Roper and brings crabs back weekly will also know.

Something a bit odd going on there.
Who had 20k worth of gear and just leaves like that.
Wasn’t hunting at Lorella, well legally anyway
