NT fishing access extended

Talk about bungled boat ramps, net buybacks, marine no-go zones, mining disasters etc here.

Its great to see a decent and respectable outcome for a change that’s for sure. The stories should have highlighted that its still a requirement for permits in some areas though, just to avoid confusion and complaints. The Blue Mud Bay area still requires a permit from the NLC until the High Court’s ‘Determination of the Blue Mud Bay Proceedings’ - ‘Mr Christopherson told the meeting that the progress of the negotiations would be reviewed every six months throughout the next year and a half, and if progress is not being achieved, then "all bets are off".’

I must say, this is the longest held permit I’ve had.
