Went to Saltwater arm last Wednesday for a crab and a fish
did ok kept 6 nice size crabs all around 18.5 cm
one thing we did notice was the amount of
small crab in the pots lots just under 10cm
there was a pro working his pots in the same area
so we could,nt go to far
did some live baiting in between checking the pots
kept some samon heaps of Barra boofing around us
very frustrating
All in all though a nice day on the water
cheers

Went out to Salt Water arm for a spot of fishing and crabbing.... The fishing was very slow but we got quite a few crabs.... Kept 9...Like Gibbo said heaps of young crabs around probably threw back abot 15 small crabs.... On the fishing front there were droves of small Snapper around kept a couple but the majority went back.... I caught my first Hammer head on a handline of all things..... On the low tide went in search of some Barra but despite hoards of bait couldnt find any Baz or Salmon...... Water temp was sitting around the 26 degree mark. The road is in a1 condition.... Still did some damage to the trailer though destroying the mounts on the mud flaps......

nice crabs there guys, im hungry looking at the pictures.
whomper i used to have a dunbier trailer and was taken to coburg and the road wasnt great and the mudguards broke as well. suprisingly the bolts held but the metal cracked all the way accross and ended up throwing both of them in the bush on the way over. also lost 6 bolts out of the trailer and had to end up getting some new ones sent over by plane so we could go home...me thinks the kit trailers are not so good on the roads up here
