Crabbing Port Augusta.

Post by NinjaFish »

It’s been a year or three since I’ve netted and had a feed of Blue Crabs.

Not as rich as our Muddies but they’re as sweet as they come.

“The more you know about things and the more you see them, the less likely you want to eat them because you say, 'Oh, their lives are a lot more complicated than you think, and they've got more abilities', or for whatever reason," he said.”…. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2022-02-09/ ... /100812698

These ones all from the Spencer Gulf in a few afternoon hours between beers.

Nice work.

Spent many years fishing Adelaide, we also used to catch the two-spot sand crabs, they were around in huge numbers when they were running. Not as tasty as the blueys tho.

Thats a ripper catch and look good size too.
You would be lucky to catch a size crab now closer to Adelaide with the huge commercial fishing operation.
