Sometimes you can get lucky, hooked through the top lip by one hook, didnt look good when it launched out the water but was actually tough to get out, released well for another day, caught on a barra classic FOW green bomber pattern, found plenty on the sounder but only the one keen fish!

My Mum is visiting from NSW and she wants to catch a Barra, but the best I could do for her on our first outing was a 117cm Jewie.

Another trip out chasing a Barra for my Mum and also convinced my daughter (up from VIC) to come along. No Barra but a heap of crabs. We had 10 pots in for about 4 hours and got 21 good sized crabs. We kept 12 so the southerners can have a good feed and let 9 Jennies go.

Don’t normally enter comps, but I love these reedys fish snakz. Used most of mine on my Lorella/limmen trip.
Few pics from the bare sandy trip, I posted about the other day.
The picture of the sand with the tents in the back ground didn’t do it justice, the whole sand island looked bright red with the sunset.

Some great entries this month, like the Bare Sandy shot and the jump shot.

Here's a pic I took a while ago of Clear Creek on the Daly, I've always liked this pic, there were plenty of barra there and the amount of birdlife up the back was incredible, you can only see some of them in the pic.

Never thought I’d be too busy to take a fish pic on the last 10 day trip out wide!

Only managed to take these couple when I finally had hands dry enough to hold the phone.
