Another harbour trip yesterday ended up with nice little 56cm model. Mate dropped one between 65-70. Was abit bumpy on way to creek in morning. But flat on way back. Dropped the pots for not much success. Croc smashed one pot. Only crab for the day was on top of the pot. And scrambled off as i tried to swing him into boat.

A trip to the south last week started bad and didn't really improve with us hitting a sandbar (very lucky to get off it with all 3 of us out of the boat pushing) and only 2 barra hooked for the day and landed neither.

Went out to shady overnight, water temps dropped to 26-27 deg and slowed the barra down, picked up the odd thready and barra on the troll and on vibes bounced slowly along the bottom, couple of jew and snapper out the front,

(Middle arm 16 May) My sister & her husband were here from Perth and had a great day enjoying the Darwin weather, even though the fishing and crabbing was very quiet.
