Hi all I am going to the daly Saturday staying on the boat over night any one have any tips they want to give me only ever been there once and didnt catch anything.

Take a thermacell and a raincoat. Other than that it will either be on like donkey kong or if it's rising, dead.

Why is that c9h14n? Do they leave the system, or are they in areas you can't get to?

They just shut down. Maybe it's a trigger to go up into the flood plains where the system is getting fed from? Any ideas?

I was fishing a creek one morning and got 7 fish in a couple of hours. Then it just stopped and that is when I realised the river was rising.

Generally if it's pushing back, the fish won't be hanging around waiting for the bait. That said , if you know what you're doing you can still catch fish. The big rivers are all the same so plan your trips and generally when the rivers are rising, no fish. When dropping, big fish.
