thinking about heading to cape hotham for an overnighter on the weekend?? any good sheltered areas to hide if the wind turns nasty

is it better to leave from leeders or saltwater arm?? any info would be good

Im heading there on the weekend as well. I have fished it a fair bit. Ruby Island can give a bit of shelter. Depends which side way the wind is coming from you can go around the other side of the cape. Other than that not much shelter other than the creeks.

I go from leaders if im staying overnight. Saltwater Arm if its just a day trip. Staying overnight this weekend.
