thinking about heading to cape hotham for an overnighter on the weekend?? any good sheltered areas to hide if the wind turns nasty :evil: is it better to leave from leeders or saltwater arm?? any info would be good :cheers:

Im heading there on the weekend as well. I have fished it a fair bit. Ruby Island can give a bit of shelter. Depends which side way the wind is coming from you can go around the other side of the cape. Other than that not much shelter other than the creeks.

thanks jas, do you use leeders or saltwater arm?? are you stayin over night or just a day trip. tides look good :mrgreen:

I go from leaders if im staying overnight. Saltwater Arm if its just a day trip. Staying overnight this weekend.
