Youtube vids are a great help, but here's a tip, ask Chatgpt for 'common mistakes' when about to do a job like hub rebuilds etc, hugely helpful.
Could have saved me some drama on a recent job.

I should add that I've found it's not 100% reliable for specs, so use the shop manual for torque settings etc.
But it's good for 'common mistakes' because AI scans mechanical/auto/hobby/craft forums and stores everything to memory, so everyone who used a forum or accessible social media platform and posted a question about an issue, the answers are trained into AI, which regurgitates all this if you ask it for common mistakes when fixing a particular item.
I tend to just go in, maybe watch a YT video and reinstall parts in the order they came out, but you can occasionally get caught out doing this, best to get all the info you can before going in.
Good to see AI being useful and not just producing loads of social media cr.p and propaganda, lol.

I haven't found it useful yet. Maybe I'll ask it if there's a better way to remove a braked hub that doesn't involve taking the axle off the spring and the spring off the bush to get at the bottom bolt- what a pain!

Chatgpt is a bit like a know-it-all-mate, it can be very helpful with tips but then out of the blue it spins you some complete bulldust.
Having said that, there are some dodgy YT videos out there as well.

Gemini had some fairly reasonable recommendations actually! I don't think any will work in my case but I've always skipped over the ai nonsense until now

I should say "AI" as I'm not loyal to Chatgpt, just use it out of habit, I imagine they're all fairly similar, or maybe not
