I think Jason caught the first million dollar barra near there in 2015. You will find queenies on the top of the reef at the southern end on the falling tide, just don't get stranded. There is an old engine block from one of the war wrecks that gets exposed which is worth a cast (it's in the book). The little gap between the southern and northern ends isn't very wide but you can navigate it on all but the lower tides if you take care. The northern end holds some shallow reefs that you would expect to find goldies, cod flags and the usual suspects on.

The lumpiest bit is the drop-off on the north-east end, I've never fished it for goldies but it has potential. It's not that deep, might be good at night.

The old engine block was killer for queenfish. Milkies there too at times.
