Nothing unusual, couple of 'dysfunctional' councils down here have had caretakers put in for various reasons.

Bit of a strange one , haven't heard the usual rumblings of mismanagement before the sacking..... But I don't really listen. So there was free parking in palmy, and it wasn't too congested. Council decides to build $13.5M carpark. Councils introduces paid parking, to help pay for it but to also force people to the car park which will also charge. I think Council rate revenue is still under $20M. Council doesn't have approval to borrow and no plan on how to pay it off. Not surprised they got the flick.
