Mouth of the South on big tides

Post by Chunky »

Hi Guys. How's the mouth of the South on big tides? Difficult to fish or dangerous? 6.1m boat. Never been that far before.

Big currents and plenty of shallow reef around the islands

Just poke around steady until you know where the reefs are. Best to get there on or around a high tide for your first time and explore the low.

Same applies no run no fun you just can't fish the deep channels on big tides or if you do only a very small window.
