Reefie Madness = reef fish + barra. Eligible reefies are golden snapper, red emperor, spangled emperor, tricky snapper, mangrove jacks, jobfish, nannygai, tuskfish ... NO COD OR JEWIES.

Comp registrations remain open until the comp ends in December, but you need a fish in at least three rounds for a chance to win a Tier 2 prize, and a fish in at least six rounds for a chance to win in Tier 1. You can enter at any time for a shot at a monthly prize.

Hi there,

Finally got a small Barramundi this morning!
And I did remember to take the pictures!
The one of the fish on the brag mat, the one of me holding it, and the one of where it came from.

It is only 52cm, but it is a start!

Got it in the mangrove at Channel Island, on a weedless soft plastic.
Will do a full post about it in the week.

Nice work ...love CI landbased its a cracker of a spot. Will probably run into you down there one day Pecheur as it looks like you spend a bit of time out there.

Nice spot.

Fished the very weedy Yellow waters on Saturday. The heat was intense in the morning so knocked off early to return in late afternoon. We managed to lose every good fish we hooked with our best boated ending up being only 58. Sunday we fished the East Alligator where our horrid run of losing good fish continued. The tension in the boat was extreme with the expected upgrade not eventuating. After much discussion in the car on the way home it was clear it was just plain bad luck and nothing to do with the skills of the anglers!

Fished SWA and leaders,was tough going but did manage this monster on the barra classic, Gunn point road ain't too bad either!

We tried hard for a good reefie at Bynoe, but no luck! This 59cm barra on a KO weedless was my biggest for the day. There's a report on another topic. Cheers
