Sooty 2 and a half year growth rate

Not a fishing report but thought it might interest those that catch the odd sooty.

These pics are the same fish that has lived in my dam for 2 and a half years. Also in the dam are a few Barra, Saratoga, Perch and a billion rainbow fish. They get fed most days on Barra pellets but also often hear the barra boofing the rainbows of an evening I assume the Sooty is doing the same.

How old was he in the first photo out of curiosity? Thsts about the average size when I get them
