The fishing reports at www.happymicks.com.au suggest it should be accessable. :!:

The Beast was there on Sunday, the road is in great condition, just a couple of pot holes here and there. Went up to Black Jungle Creek, still too much water to get a barra chubbie over. One of the junctions up the creek was just starting to pump tanin water at 3pm but by then the incoming tide wasn't too far away. Again too much water over the banks. Give it a 5/7days.
That 7.6m tide was amazing, so much tidal run off close to the mouth. It was pouring out like rapids. We scored our fish out the front of the mouth, hunting them in the likely places. Biggest was 62 was they were all chromies bar one. My fishing pal landed all the fish on a crusty old bomber with hardly any paint on it. I saw a nice fish smack my popper but he missed it.

Launched at Saltwarter Arm today. The water temp stayed between 26C and 27C. Lost a good fish at the Narrows and between two boats, got two keepers and four undersize up the Wilthshires (all on lures). The fish are there but they are slow probably because of the water temp (maybe livebait is the go). The road is starting to get ordinary again, needs another grade.
Cheers
