Wooden mud crabs

Post by Matt Flynn »

There is a new family run wood carving and furniture store called Yunani in Winnellie that has amazingly cheap but quality stuff like large carved wooden mud crabs, saratoga and more.

These guys have just opened and are doing it hard as a new business so if you want some quality furniture check it out - the prices are less than you would expect for quality gear - there is no plywood or chipboard that I could see in any of their products.

They are in Sadgroves Cres, Winnellie - my wife took the pix below - sorry no mud crab pic.

This post is not getting me any commercial favours - I am just keen to see them succeed.

Well it won't be too long before you'll be eligible for that style Andy

But they also have lots of modern stuff, the pictures give an example of their craftmanship.

I picked this wooden crab up in Vietnam a couple of years ago in Ho Chi Min City, cost around $14 from memory.
This crab has a flip top head, which is good for storing your hooch (aparently :naughty: )
It sits proudly on its haunches ontop of my mahogany coffee table.

Cheers
