Big Barra Briscoe cleans up at Dundee Beach
Have a group of 8 fishing at the moment from Sydney and were all keen to catch a barramundi. All the lads landed barra today but Pete Briscoe was the overall champion with this nice 105cm barramundi. The lads also landed some nice emporer and jewifsh... and plenty of muddes... Great news in the lead up to the Reel Women Barra Classic.

Nice fish but I don't know where that picture was taken because that is not the mouth of the Finniss that I know for sure....

Well done Pete Briscoe
Im now chasing my 2nd Meter long fish - because ive given up on my first. I cant get over 97cm
What is it with these blokes ? they lob here for a couple of days and bag a metery.

Pfffttt... I've never seen you there... Glen has a white boat not a blue one like in the picture.... and its definitely not the Finniss... only thing truthful about this thread is Glenn is a great guy, possibly the guy's name holding the fish.. and the statement that its a Barra...Anglers Choice wrote:Hi Back Cast - we have some sneaky barra spots that produce some big fish. Re: Big Barra Briscoe cleans up at Dundee Beach
Thanks Nomad... they were catching quite a few up around the high 70s.. then landed this big girl. Peter Brsicoso has been visiting the Top End (first time with Anglers Choice) for many years so needless to say he was pretty chuffed. I know what you mean though - on many occassions, clients fiirst ever barra has been over a metre I sometimes wonder if they understand the quality of the catch!nomad wrote:Well done Pete Briscoe

I have been updating the Anglers Choice website daily with fishing reports so check out the rest of the boys 5 days fishing charter if you have a moment http://www.anglerschoice.com.au/darwin-fishing-reports/
Cheers
Em

And even my little bloke picked that as the Little Finniss (not that Anglers Choice even said in her post it was the Finniss)..all she said was they caught a few fish, reckon a few people on here would be able to get some good advice about Dundee and what the latest is, if we give her a go....not everyone is an expert...nice Baz too...

Good spotting Polcast. It was a blue esky that Pete was sitting on - I dont own any blue boats - my boats are all white. Cheers - empolcat wrote:Looks like a blue esky lid to me back cast!!
