Dundee Beach Rocks

Post by tristan.sloan »

Hi guys,

Im heading out to Dundee tomorrow morning for a meeting. I was thinking of throwing some lures around for Barra early in the morning on the high tide around the rocks south of the lodge. I've fished there with live bait in the past and caught some fish but was looking for some tips on what lures to use? Any help would be appreciated as I've only got about an hour up my sleeve and I'm looking to make the most of it

Big bombers or 8+barra baits. Gold if the water is cloudy and Blue/silver bling if its clean.

Good time of the year for the odd jewfish from the rocks there with a bit of come here gear
The past is history, the future is mystery, the moment is a gift and that's why it's called the present

One little GT, one of the guides trolling out the front of the lodge got a decent Barra though
