I haven't fished there for years.... did get some nice fish there in the past. I was thinking more of Woods Inlet for this weekend. Tried a month ago there for nothing.... Keen for another go.

I have had very little luck with tides that low (0.42) for the day time low. If you are super keen (or stupid as I have been called) you could do the low tides at 0130 Saturday or 0200 Sunday. I have had some success with those tides and bit of moon light. Although I only travelled to Myrmidon Creek in East Arm which is very close compared to West Arm..

Watch the rockbars!! Fish the drains at the bottom of the tide and the rising tide to the mangrove roots. Keep an eye out for scared bait or feeding, then keep casting till you hook him!

1.8 meter low tide and new moon works well at west arm.

I dont woory about the moon to much, the tide yes. The best window is 1.5 hours either side of the low, think like a fish, rocks, rocks, rocks are your best spots and just keep casting. All the harbour arms have been fishing very well all year, now being the best month of the year probably. Use small green, gold or white lures including soft plastics and dont retrieve the lure to fast, slow slow slow. Hope that helps. Good luck.

I've been doing really well over there. I wouldn't bother this weekend but you might jag a few. It's better on building tides rather than massive springs and waining tides. Clearer waterJezza 4 wrote:Anyone got any thoughts or tactics for west arm on sat

Look for where the color change in the water, target the 5m on the murky dirty water side.
And you know what they say "No run, No fun"

Thanks for the info Guys,Ive come from NW WA so the no run no fun works well over there, seems to be a bit different here as the neaps offer different opportunities as back home the neaps are only good for diving.
