Post by bandit »

Hey all.. i know this thread dosnt get much attention but ill put it out there....

Just a few questions on this region.. ( Redcliffs and the rocks at Cape Ford)..
Had a look on the fishing map but its abit vaigue.. Some spots at redcliffs none at ford?

Do people fish right in close here or are there some bommies out abit wider worth a troll?
Is it better to fish at low or high?

any tips would be great... gonna be down that way this week :catch: ..

cheers :drinking1:

I created a thread on red cliffs a while back, still have not been out there yet.

Have a look at AJ Barramundi O.D. DVD, correct me if I'm wrong but I am sure Redcliffs is in on of those DVD's from a trip about 3 - 5 years ago.
Cheers

I am sure AJ took Mark Taylor (cricket) down there a few years ago so it is probbibly that trip. I havent seen that DVD so not sure.
Smile, be happy & go fishing.

Work is getting in the way of my fishing.
My boss says fishing is getting in the way of my work.
I will soon fix both of our problems by quitting.

Thats the one buckaneer, its old footage a few years back with mark taylor as his still in the quinnie legend. Guys were fishing it during the runoff, when it really fires for barra i assume. I know i'd like to book a few days there in the 2009 run off :catch: . They also hooked some nice reds around the perons  , and tubby taylor nails a triple heady of PT's. Good fishing footage only if you can handle AJ :banghead: .
