quick crabbing session at sadgroves, after school

Catch and cook a seafood buffet, with or without barramundi.

trier is so correct.....if yr fair dinkum half those should of gone straight back.

A bit hard to tell if the crabs are legal size but I guess if you are posting pics on an open forum you have to give the benefit of the doubt. They look big enough for me.

I'm not aware that blue swimmers and cod have size limits. These blue swimmers make great stock for soup if your into that kind of food.

Mate if your fair dinkum why not ask why the law doesnt make the legal size limit bigger.

All those muddies are easily legal. The blue swimmers dont have a size or bag limit so I dont know what you are questioning here?

Just measured one NT News page as about 28cm across, i rate all those crabs as legal and well done for getting out after school and chasing them. Too many fat kids with nintendos these days to go tut-tutting this, get more into it.

Well the two muddies on the right side of the cod r definitely undersized so I don't know y anyone is congratulating a bloke for rape and pillage practices. If he were in dire straits and needed a feed fair enough but from my judgment, completely illegal, with a boat or no boat. Really bad form brother!

Agree with most on here. We all take size limits seriously but hey...let's not get hysterical over kids doing something positive after school. They could be chucking rocks at cars from an overpass. Good work young fella.
Its not a crisis unless there is blood around.

Spot on Mud.
 I wish the mob that spent 6 hrs causing strife near my place went crabbing instead of yelling, screaming and fighting all night.

When you're young it's easy to get caught up in the moment - no doubt lesson learned from this forum, although I think some of the comments are a bit harsh.......

Good on you for getting out there I say!!

Thought Peter Perfect had left the room...Seems like his ghost is haunting this thread.PFFFT.
Of course nobody bagging the young fella has EVER stretched the measure. :bs: :moon:
Well in young Wrangler, enjoy.. just take a measuring stick next time.
" YOUTH is a GIFT "
"AGE is an ART "
"Doesn't mean you get any smarter..just wrinkled and cracked".

"No angler watches nature in a passive way...He enters into its very existence." (John Bailey...Reflections on a Waters Edge)

"Govern a Family as you would catch a small fish....Very Gently." (Chinese Proverb)

"Only those become weary of angling who bring nothing to it but the idea of catching fish." (Rafael Sabatini...1857-1950)

I pray that one day God sends me a fish so big that, when talking of it...I have no reason to lie.
