Not so long ago the Bass Strait cable broke, and lakes were pretty much run dry to keep the power up. Diesel gensets were brought in at great cost.
Cable is fixed so I assume power will come from Vic?
Getting some rain now, but heading into summer, it might not be enough. Interesting times if the cable breaks again.
