Chambers Bay Creeks
Hi All,
Fishing Shady for the first time in late March. With the Springs, have been told to try Marsh Creek mouth at High and troll Sampan or TC mouths at the low.
For the life of me I can't find out which of the C'Bay creeks is Marsh. Can any of you help using the attached pic? Are any of the other creeks worth a hit?
Thanks!

Marsh would be 1. All creeks are worth a check. Sampan and Tommycut will be difficult on springs

Marsh does fish well but the idea should be that you find the bait and hopefully find the fish. Listening to some fella on Tales, he was saying that he found bait at smaller creeks where there was less fresh coming out so any of those creeks could be the creek that goes off.
You can fish those creeks the whole time while the incoming tide backs up the fresh coming out of the creek. Do keep an eye on the depth if you're coming in to a creek near the low tide as it's pretty flat and shallow along that coast.

Cheers, thanks for the help. Will play it by ear and might check out the other side of Point Stuart as well

What size boat are we talking about.
Marsh is not a creek trip you rock up and fish without a fair bit of planning and knowledge.
Know the tide difference from the barrage to the mouth on Spring tides beforehand.
Plenty of fuel and supplies as known a few newbies to get stuck for a tide there.
As said FF book will give you a guide. Several creeks to the left worth a shot.
Search old threads for a good while before hand.

Re: Chambers Bay Creeks
So after three tough days on the South (two 70's, some rats and a cyclone) made it to Marsh Creek thanks to a near glassed out day on Monday and the big Springs.
Managed to land this big girl which went $1.04. She was my third and biggest meterey but she was literally twice as thick as the first two. Solid fish! We dropped a couple of others around the 80's, plus saw another metre fish and a 90+ get landed.
Also dropped a good fish trolling the colour change about 2kms out. There where some horses on the sounder and there seemed to be plenty of fish around out there and off TC.
My first time at Shady Camp, pretty happy! Made the last minute whirlwind trip from BNE worthwhile
