It's been an odd build up for me Matt, finding less legal Barra in harbour but more jacks. Guessing the legal Barra have already started mating season so will need to start targeting shoal bay soon.

But have picked up a jack 4 out of the last 5 trips which hasn't happened in the past.

Yeah ozdodge spoke to a mate the other day he picked up five of them in woods two weeks ago. I usually get them on odd occassions but not this frequent. Nice fish Rawz!

Headed to West on Saturday with a mate. Had a nice double on some Barra, a few smaller ones, one thready, one Goldie and had a session on jacks missing a few and only landing two

Cheers

Back to the arm today with some mates. Plenty of smaller Barra and cod. One thready, one jack, lost another thready and got bricked by large jack. Nice on way over but but bumpy on way back all in great day.

Fresh Barr for dinner tonight.

Cheers

Myself and my oldest boy fished kinchant Dam in Mackay on Friday night and got into a few.
Landed 12 from 13 with most fish in the 60's and a couple in the 90's.........was an epic session 8) 8)

What’s better than catching a Barra…..catching a few with your number 1 deckies on board. Cheers,

A few from this month……lost count of how many fish in the 80’s this last week and a bit.
You’d think I’d find a 90+ amongst em but nothing.
It’s been a great 2023 sharing the waterways with my boys.
Time for some boat upgrades and some reel maintenance.
Enjoy the festive season everyone.
