A few more decided to dodge the crowds as everyone would be at the races. Did flats session again. 4 legals and couple of muddies. Dropped more baz and fair bit of smaller ones. Still hitting hard on slow rolled 4.5inch plastics in natural colours however

Cheers

I had my Mum & sister up from down south, so I took them to Corroboree for a fish but it was more of a wildlife tour.

My sister's only request whilst she was here was to catch a big fish & get some muddies. We manage to tick the box with a 118cm jewie and 6 good size muddies.

I had a mate up from Melbourne to work at the boat show. The tides weren't ideal but we managed to dart out for a quick fish on Friday arvo, nothing spectacular but managed a feed.

A few more dry season flats session pics. Weather has been touch and go for flats but have made it work each time. Photos are a combination from bynoe and Darwin harbour. Highlights my mate got his first Barra on lure finding a sunken tree on a flat in the harbour that turned into a honeyhole with a great session of Barra off the tree and finishing that session off sight casting my first triple tail off the same tree. Missed some tuna and larger Queenie's in the harbour. Bait has been scattered.

Did Bynoe run on long weekend with mate from work. But breezy but if you found spots out of the wind the fish were on. Water temp sat around 27 degrees most of the day. Ended up boating 10 Barra, 4 of which were legal, heap of cod and a nice thready. Fish were caught on suspending minnows, poppers, vibes and 4.5 paddletail plastics slow rolled. Spotted a heap of Barra and threadies on the flats which was fun also to sight cast.
