FFF Seadogs 2019 - Round 3 - Jewfish and Barra .... Day 9

Slow start to this month's round, but after the NT Barramundi Classic result from last week, it is understandable.

Keep in mind that jewfish are eligible this month.

Here is some inspiration for you guys... my clients landed this Jew fish on my charter on the weekend. 143 cm

Got this 115 today at Leaders on a Reidy's Fish Snakz vibe

My sister & brother in law are up from Perth, he got this 111cm in the first hour of day one on a bit of Powertail at SWA.

122cm from Shady on strip of blue salmon

Some really good fish

Looks like whole trout would be a perfect bait

Small Barra caught in East arm. 56cm

Some good fish caught in the comp so far.

A 43cm on live bait Darwin harbour

That's 1 more barra than me for the month, ha ha!:)

Deckie got this 119cm from off Pt Blaze tonight using big slabs of mullet. We got three for the evening and even tried to sink some large billfish flies to them but no luck.

Had a day in the fresh on East Alligator earlier this week. Water still up and fishing pretty slow but we managed five or six rats before I picked up this 75 towards the end of the day. And for those interested Yellow Waters is still closed and the road into Shady is like a formula 1 track.
