Spent the bucks for accomm at Cooinda to chase the tagged fish with my lad.
Car park empty of trailers was not a good sign.
There was a welcome party at boat ramp, so did out best to avoid that Gecko.
Exhaust pipe under water trying to get enough water under boat to launch/ retrieve
Place is a mud bath
Water Temp 34C
Saw a few tailing barra waltz past not interested in anything, just heading downstream. (Not as many as the 70+ barra tailing last year)
Went to Mardagul, Deeper water crystal clear 31C.
Caught 3 rats & a toga at various snags. Still hard going.

Place needs some soothing cooling rain
