Went out on Wednesday to Elizabeth River all good got some nice crabs and some good bites. Went back on Thursday 2 pots lost/stolen by crocks or share farmers and 1 prop to some rocks under the mud on the low tide.Anyhow looking for some info on middle ramp area, if I put in there which way is best to head for a crab and fish for the day on Monday or Tuesday, smaller tide than this week,and is putting the pots in the gutters the go as that is where I lost my last 2. Any rocks or bars to be wary of up there?
Any help/info would be appreciated, I cant aforward too many more props
On a side note, I caught 1 red claw crab. I perfer the green crabs for texture and taste. Is this just me or are they an acquired taste.
