Browsing on Ebay I came across a brand of reel called Jovian.
Has anybody heard of this brand or used one. I have searched on the net and the only thing I can find on them are the listings on Ebay.
Are they anygood as the prices seem fairly reasonable or is a case of you get what you pay for?

Ohh the dreaded E-bay fishing gear
Mate, I've made the mistake of buying no-name reels before on e-bay. And my advice is don't, they may seem like they have all the same specs as the brand name ones but like you said "you get what you pay for".
I've had big game reels cr.p themselves the moment I hooked BIG fish, right when you really need to be able to depend on your reels.
Save the hartach and go with Shimano. Realisticaly they arn't that expensive and will be well worth every cent when you get that fish of a lifetime on board.
Cheers
