What about if you put up signage or wrote all over the wreck below all of the XXXX signs of course.
[NO UNAUTHORISED ENTRY
I mean how far do you need to go to keep people doing the right thing. Next thing somebody will be suining you for losing their anchor on the wreck.
I understand where the concerns are coming from but where will it all end.
Best of luck with the venture boys keep up the great work.

Ok Fisho's here's the scuttling date: Saturday 29th September.
The newlauch site is Matalotzzo's wharf at Hudson Creek.(The McMahn site was unsuitable unfortunatly).
We have a morning high of 7.5m at 07:14am. Perfect timing!
I just ask a minimum of boats at the launch site. Just the 'work' boats and a few tenders. We'll use channel 72 to comms on the day, so spectator boats can meet us out near the Lee Point area.
Mv Dodgy RIP and bring on the Jewies!

reef
I got an answer today from AON Insurance regarding public liability insurance covering those who are sinking the MV Dodgy reef and movement of the reef to its location.
AON said there were no insurers willing to take on such a policy.
Frank at AON said the next option would be to go to Lloyds for insurance and he suspected such a policy premium would be at least "about $50,000".
What a joke! And imagine the policy conditions ...
This insurance problem means North Australian FISH FINDER and The Editor's Office PL can not assist with the sinking of the reef. Forum users who want to go ahead will have to do so at their own risk.
This irks me as much as it probably irks you.
If you now have reservations about being involved there is an alternative option as the NT fisheries department has pledged to sink the MV Dodgy hull at an unspecified date, along with a couple of others.
I suspect forum users will go ahead with the sinking. It is great to see the enthusiasm and organisation and I have no doubt it will be an enjoyable and safe sinking. Good luck.
Legal statement: The sinking of the MV Dodgy and any further artificial reefs by users of this forum is not in any way supported by North Australian FISH FINDER or The Editor's Office PL. There is no public liability or other insurance coverage for the sinking of these reefs.
