Saddest thing out of that is that means we cannot use the FFF name meaning FFF members dont get the credit AS A GROUP that they deserve.
What a shame. Could have been a whole lot of very positive publicity for ALL forum members. I know I was intending posting on quite few Aus and International sites the fruits of labour when fishos decide they want to put something back. ..
Would rather be identifed as a FFF member than 'a group of Darwin fisho's'

FFF
I would love the FFF kudos too but not without the insurance. It really is a bugger.
But it will still get covered here and in my newspaper fishing column etc.

On a side issue I had a meeting with the fisheries director tonight and have quizzed her about the future of artificial wrecks around Darwin and what there plan is
When I get the info back I will post it up we might be able to sink them "under the NTG insurance" not sure yet but that is what I am hoping for...

Ok movers and shakers, we are all systems go for launch tomorrow morning
I just ask all craft not directly involved in the towage operation to keep a good distance away at all times, especially from our heading.
We should be in the zone between 10am and 12pm.
One we are anchored in position and we have unloaded our equipment, Dodgyone will start swinging his sledge. At that point I'll send the signal that craft can approach for filming and photo's.
ps
Anyone with a decent size sledge please bring it along, we may need spares.
The MV Dodgy awaits its final resting place.

poop yeah,
She went down like a hooker on Hugh Grant...LOL
Was a blast steering the Codfather whilst Ray kept an eye on preceedings.
After the return trip and just beating the tide at Dina by about 10 mins was off to the Ski club for a few congrats drinks and plans for the next sinking.
There a swag of pics to follow and Matt should have some awesome footage as well.
All who missed it missed a great morning on the water.
A HUGE pat on the back should go to Chad and Dodgy and all who were involved with organising getting the ol' concrete bath to the water.
All the businesses involved in supporting should also get a huge pat also, although nothing comes free these days they sure helped out in a big way.
Enough of me, will post some pics soon and there will be a shed load to follow as well.
