Have been getting the odd goose at shoal bay over the last month or so but very quite compared to last year... I thought it might have improved with all the rain we have had. so I headed out on tuesday night to find the place was a dry as ever.

went home to check the bom. has it turns out Howard spring has only had 40mm in the last week and nightcliff had 180

im going to have a crack at harrisons tomorrow morning. ive been to shoal bay twice now without firing a shot.....

Ended up changing my mind and heading to lambells last night. not too many birds coming in but still got three which wasnt too bad. missed a good mob of blackys that came through a bit late though
