Just some spelling info for NT place names ...

Apsley Strait, not Apsley
Bleesers Creek, not Bleesers
Micket Creek, not Meckitt

Also, I'm fairly sure it's ....
Leaders Creek, not Leeders
Tommycut, not Tommycutt

Keen to hear if anyone has info on place names anywhere in the NT, including spelling and history. It's amazing how many creeks up here don't have official names yet.

Oops I forgot that I put the forum's automatic spelling correction gizmo on those words last week

That's why they are coming out the same.

Apsley not A-s-p-l-e-y
Bleesers not B-l-e-s-s-e-r-s .......................

Micket Creek, Shoal Bay
