Easter FFF Photo Prizes

Post by Matt Flynn »

Legendary FFF sponsor BOZOS has sent more lures for prize giveaways including the excellent 6" shads with ultra-strong hooks - perfect for barra.

I'll be giving away two Easter prizes next week.

PRIZE ONE: Best fishing report. Must include pix. Doesn't have to include loads of fish, but be a good overall report about your Easter fishing, diving, hunting or spearing campaign. Humour, road and sea conditions, originality all taken into account.

PRIZE TWO: Best photo. Will probably be one by the biggest fish or pig, however I might give this prize for a photo of a great photo of an average specimen or a great action shot.

I might also do a Wood Duck prize for the best BOZOS Bungle if someone comes up with something good, with pictures!

So take your cameras fishing folks!

To start this off

A lousy pic I'm afraid, was in a hurry to get the fish back in the water and I hate those bl..dy brag mats, one wobble and the fish slides straight off, spend more time adjusting the fish then taking the pic. :banghead:

Got four last night after a all night session punctuated by a couple of sleeps. This one was about the biggest.

It and a mate took a super deep scorp after the area had been worked with lures with shallower bibs attached.

The shot typifies some of Easter for me, in the boat, a swag and a nice fish.

:catch:

G'day Jonesy, theres a particular painting process used by Halco, and I guess a few other lure makers where the base coat is silver. On to this they paint colours stripes etc.

I reckon those painted that way start to work well when the coloured paint has started to wear away in some places to expose more silver and the silver has started to wear away to expose the base plastic colour. The whole thing looks a bit like a mullet or boney bream that's been belted and half its scales have gone missing.

If it looks like a munted mullet and swims like a munted mullet, gota be one

Nice shot harmsey

Here's my last contribution, four more last night, this one just over the metre.

Same spot as Friday, they wouldn't touch a scorpion but gobbled up a classic.

Some great reports and photos there - crikey, choosing a winner will be hard.

Nice fish there Gold Can, especially that red emp.

Anyone who has not filed their Easter fishing report and pix needs to do so by Thursday noon for a chance to win.

The winners are ...

Well, there were several posts that were good, including some from new members. However the winners are:

*Jasonmcc for his long weekend report from Cape Hotham and Chambers Bay

*Salad Fingers for his Bynoe Wide report

*Harmsey for his sunken Hilux report

*Shane and Jordan Doevy for yet another great Dundee report

*Whomper37 for his blog report

*****PLEASE ALL WINNERS PM ME YOUR POSTAL DETAILS*****

I wish I could give out more BOZOS lure packs but I have to save some for the next comp.

Dick gets a special mention for landing yet more Kimberley Horses, and taking good photos while fishing solo.
