If we caught them as kids in the Murray River, the old man
would fillet then soak them overnight, in milk. Butter and flour in a pan and his brekky was done . I had vegemite on toast

Lol. I couldn't get past the carp smell.
But there was a time in Europe when they were considered good tucker. I guess if you are cold and hungry enough ...
