Righto, bit of an update. We owned a beautiful 6.8M (7.2 overall) on Groote Eylandt. We have moved to Darwin & been fishing in a 4.2 wide body that has serviced us well for the last 4 years. Our fishing passion has led us to a bigger boat again. open style this time as we will be estuary creeks, open water, big rivers & fresh water courses too.
We have settled on a 6.35 Formosa plate SRT side console. 250Hp suzi & 20HP suzi auxiliary, both operated via the cockpit.
electric anchor winch SS1000 Savwinch
300L fuel, Kill tank, live bait well (plumed), HDS 12 live, hook reveal 9, fusion stereo package, 130L fresh water plumbed tank, Deck Armour floor & gunnels, custom canopy, boat cover etc.
Pretty excited as the build started on Monday, deposited $$ in January this year.
Looking forward to seeing what Darwin waterways have to offer

Re: New rig
Helluva rig, congrats. So many spots out there when you have a long-range boat.

I should add that the local dealer has been spectacular.
Insanity is a good place to hide from reality!
It is not how long the fish is but how long you have fished & how long you've wished.......
