sending rods south,

Hi Has anyone used a courier to send rods south, longer than 1.5 meters.
Please tell us best cheapest courier service,

Flickens all over it. My missus ended up with two piece rod that was securely packed and wrapped by her ol man still got smashed. More stickers the better

Separate story, I ordered a fly rod from the USA a few years ago and an empty tube arrived. Vendor gave me a refund, but it wasn't their fault.

50 bucks to send 2 rods to Vic , arrived one piece.
