Plenty of spots still closed

Post by Flickin4em » Sun May 19, 2019 8:57 pm

Despite the fact that our wet was a dud many areas still remain closed for some reason?

National Park Rangers in crew cleaning up once again before the general public gets a chance? :banghead:

No doubt they'll open them once they stop producing?

Yep, just had family visit from WA....they went out to Kakadu for the week.....their assessment.....most places still closed so considering the distances needed to travel they were not impressed. Their take home message was they would not bother going back to Kakadu, they did however enjoy Litchfield and had good things to say about that.

Beyond rediculous hey... we used to have to go through the creek at the start of the track on the way in at 800mm deep.
Last year it was dry on opening day :| was there any water in it this year hobbit ?

2 Brothers got a solid 86 he entered into the seadogs comp a couple of weeks back in the first week it had opened but by now I'd say it'll be absoloutely bl..dy freezing like the south alligator was yesterday though.... good luck if you head out it's still a good camping spot regardless of quality of the barra fishing. Do your warm ups and stretching 'cos you'll be doing a fair bit of practice casting.
