Dundee camping

Post by Granty »

Hi all,

I am chasing some recommendations for camping spots out Dundee way this Dec. I haven't been out there before and I'm not sure what he tracks like in the wet.

I'm after a place where I can have a flick or put the boat in near by. Its more just a chill out and enjoy the tranquility type of trip where I can run the 4x4 have a few beers and loose a couple of fish.

I'm not sure what the law says about driving out there, finding a good spot near the beach and setting up for a couple of days with out a permit.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Cheers all.

Granty.

Check out Keswick Point. Should find it in the Fish Finder mag

Great camping spot. Fishing off the beach and a reasonable bank launch boat ramp that can handle most size boats on the upper parts of the tide.

No permit required but the track in might be a bit dodgy after a bit of rain.

Cheers
