Launched at dundee around 7am with lats and spent the day up the Finniss chasing barra. Tides where a little big but we cant all get time during the week to get out. trolled around most of the day and flick a few spots but no barra. Seen 2 fish caught at the rock bar but nothing else all day. We decided to go out blaze and salvage the trip chasing reef fish. After the slow trip out the mouth of the Finniss in shallow water navigating the channel we hit blaze just on dark pulled a couple of goldies lats got a nice rock cod and the lemon sharks moved in. We moved spots and kipped out for the night, well lats did and i caught a few more lemon sharks! Up at a sparrows fart found a few more goldies and headed home to beat the storm front rolling in. All time on the water is experience and all in all it was a good trip.

Sounds good mate, I havn't been able to find any goldies of late.

They didnt feed for long, if and when you find them trust the sounder and just on dark and before sunrise is when iv found the bigger fish feed. In saying that some boys get them in the middle of the day

Good stuff, just getting impatient for that ramp to open up now so I can launch whenever I want...

Just follow Jeffish around and you will get onto them

Pity you didn't get mongst the Barra as well

Yeah was a good trip. Barra annoyed me but being able to find the goldies of late has been a regular occurrence so you really can't complain about that. Just need to pull my finger out with the photo taking
