First post. Hi guys, was out at east point rocks this morning and landed my first queenie of the day after half an hour using live baits i catch form the wharf. There is a huge school of queenies patrolling the side of the rocks facing the city. I was there when the tide started to change (7:00).
Is there any spot along the rocks where you can catch live baits? Any help will be appreciated.

take some burly and small hooks and fish for garfish in any sheltered area.
Around the little beach in front of the war museum is a good place to start.
You can use the throw net but it is a bit rocky.
East point,s a great spot for casting metal slugs and poppers for quennies and trevs.

Try smaller x-raps 10s or the same size Yozuri crystal minnows

Any chrome metal lure and rooster poppers are what I usually use there about 50 to 75 mm long
Try something with a bit of green in it as it resembles the small gar.

Hi there,
It is prohibited to use a cast net at East Point.
And yes, I have seen people doing it, but I have also seen people getting in trouble for doing it.
Small chrome slice in the 40 frames size work very well on the Queenfish over there.
Have a good day,
Pecheur
