Lee Point Wrecks for the first time

Post by burgz »

G'day all

I'm heading out to Lee Point on Saturday morning with the mrs for our first crack at Lee Point wrecks. Plan to troll the ledge closer to shore until the tide slows and drop some baits on the change.

Can anyone tell me which wreck fishes better? I'm not asking for any secret spots or marks, just don't want to waste the morning fishing a wreck that is renowned for being quiet. I have the book so there are lots of options, any suggestions would be appreciated!

Cheers, Burgs.

If you want jewies I reckon the containers are great.

Bottlewasher is reliable even though it gets smashed.

I reckon try a few until you score.

Make sure you've got some decent bait for the jewies, can make all the diff.

Bit early for mackies but you never know.

Rick mills site held good jewies on monday. Bottlewasher was good for trevs & small mackies but too many dam batfish.!!

Big strip baits for the jewies. Keep moving til you find them.
