I have a trip planned to Channel Point planed, two cars have had to pull out. So I have two spare permits available.
Have permits for Friday and sat night. Will most likely be leaving around 6.30 on Friday night.
With pretty good weather coming up, and the tides are pretty good too, should be able to get the boat in and out anytime.
Im heading down with my family (3 young kiddies) and another mate is coming. Im taking my 4.8m boat.
Would be good if anyone wants to join us, like I said I have two permits available. Would be better if you had a boat to bring, but Im sure I could take you out for a fish, just wont be all weekend. Also happy to take kids out, (weather permitting). Would be good to have other kids there.
I know a few people have shown recent interest on a trip to Channel Point, so hear is your chance.
PM me and Im sure we can work something out.

Re: Channel Point This weekend
How long does it take to get a permit, from time of application to approval? ive checked the website but its very non committal
We had problems getting lines to the bottom during the neaps (in the channel) so the springs would be a nightmare.
Obviously, up the top would be much easier but there were some nice holes in the deep channel
