Went out to Corroboree for our annual fathers day trip, was a great day on the water with only 1 fish landed, that to my young fella, a nice 72cm fish that is his first barra, with a little help from dad.
Spoke to about 4 guides out there, all of whom had no barra for the clients and it was about 12pm.

That's one of the best barra I seen from corroboree for a while. I haven't caught one there in 3 years.

I went out to corroboree sat 7th- saw 4 boats out there all day we hooked up two tarpon.Then went sunday 8th carpark chockos full. Saw 3 guide boats, one trolling; with a hook up, the other hooked a toga around the lillies. We actually turned the tackle box upside down inside out changing up, plastics, hards, frogs, prawns... So mate your young fella is a champion! You catch it on plastic? weedless?

Hey Ambush, i think its a bit of luck out there at the moment, even thou the spot we got it is a spot i seem to get fish when nothing else is happening. He got it on a terminator, we had three lines out, and his was closest to the boat.

I reckon ur right about the luck brad. Very tough going, one charter had 5 people on it. Bet old mate would have been busting hiss butt to find them fish too!! Terminater cool, I've using little lucifers, lil gulp natural/ watermelon minnow. No luck
