2nd time out

Post by PaulString123 »

I was going to go for a fish up middle arm tomorrow, put in at middle arm ramp and head south. Just wondering with the bigger tides will I be ok motoring around on a 1.9m low at around lunch time? I was going to fish the runout and the first of the run in
Thanks

:titanic: like Niglet said, take the Bible (North Australia FF) with you. Cause just down from Daly and Berry Creek, be careful of the rockbar(s). One option is to get there before the low, and sit in the Jewie Hole and fish the turn of the incoming. You didn't mention how big your boat is? Be really careful from just south of Dalys creek, Rockbars go for ages, and on both sides down to darwin river mouth and southport boat ramp. :captain: Steady as she goes mate

Wow. Spring lows, fishing any where in Darwin= issues. Use your eyes and have a look. Watch the sounder, the water pattern, the eddies. People can say so much but instinct and your own eyes will give you best reults. Nt rivers are full of obsticles, rock bars, sand bars and so on. Take it easy and learn for your self. You will learn quicker and find better spots that way.
