no way in the world would that wont be really accessable now until april may maybe quad bikes if your really keen and have a whinch

Mate if you don't try it would be a sign of weakness. Hit it in 2WD like a real man. You always have the hubs to lock in when you are up to the diffs and need to get out!!!

Can get out there in a decent 4wd all year if. Ya won't we used to do it alot in full wet 2 cars is best ! Only 2 real boggy sections the rest you can work ya way through them

2 cars + snorkle + big mud tyres and snatch straps and a winch would be good.

It's very achievable if you have a bit of 4x4in experience and a decent setup 4B.. We were out there in 2 patrols and a cruiser yesterday, not all the way to the rockbar though, and we didn't have any real dramas and I don't have muddies on my cruiser, just all terrains.. Just pick your lines and stay out of the ruts, thats what will catch you out! As stated though best to do it with other 4B's and make sure you have proper recovery gear and a decent shovel at a minimum..
