Went over to West Arm yesterday hoping that the barra would be boofing around the turn of the tide. It was not to be as it very quiet over there with hardly any fish breaking the surface. No hook ups at all.
I also dropped 6 crab pots as the tide was rising. The total number of keeper size crabs I pulled up was ZIP.
Oh Well

You know those pesky salmon that are hard to catch on lures? try smothering your crab pot bait with tuna oil, sometimes average size salmon get stuck in there. Don't know if its technically legal though? suppose it isn't net fishing(?)
