Noah's Ark discovered?

Post by Matt Flynn »

Noah's Ark or an Underwater Uluru? All I know is that it exists. I found it on my sonar/sidescan off the NT coast, and the images are here.

OK, it's not quite as big as Uluru, but it's still impressive.

The mysterious lump comes out of 35m up to 16m, has steep sides with plenty of bumps and growth, and is 80m wide by about 400m long. It looks like an upturned giant boat.

Good thing about a spot like this is that it should be good for fishing at any stage of the tide. I'll test that theory in the next few weeks :-)

How do I prove it is Noah's Ark? Dunno.

This USO (Unidentified Submerged Object) will be revealed in more detail in a future edition of NTMAG
