That in itself would make a great movie, is there a book planned? (hint hint)

Looks Crackers is exploring a remote PNG river in that little red boat, too funny, must be some interesting nights in some of those places ... http://esriaustralia.com.au/crackertracker

Hasn't been a post on his FB page for a while, I guess he has been well out of phone range.

Crackers' boat got a bit damp in PNG, and he was chased by Indonesian traders after someone nicked his cash - but all has ended well.

He is currently in Seisia, about to head down to Cairns, I think he is looking for a cyclone

His FB story is here .... http://www.facebook.com/FriendsofPapuaNewGuinea

Crackers in Cairns now, has officially ended his trip, at least the northern leg, he took a tow behind a luxury boat for the Seisia-to-Cairns leg because it was so late in the season after delays in PNG ... http://www.facebook.com/FriendsofPapuaNewGuinea

An unbelievable journey ... Darwin-to-Gove-to-Groote-around-the-Gulf-of-Carpentaria-to-Karumba-to Weipa-to-Seisia-to-PNG-to-Cairns and all in a 15ft old half-cabin hull with 60hp motor.

He had some great challenges along the way and got himself out of all of it, including ...

*Stuck a week on a Gulf mudflat
*Boat swamped in PNG
*Robbed and chased in PNG by Indonesian traders
*Motor failures
*Hit cattle in his vehicle when retrieving his boat up the Cape

Repairs were done along the way.

He spent several weeks living with a remote PNG tribe after delivering a load of useful domestic goods.

I am looking forward to having a beer and hearing his stories!

His journey will be duly recorded in North Australian Fishing and Outdoors Magazine.

Having travelled from Darwin-to-Nhulunbuy-to-Groote then around the Gulf of Carpentaria and up Cape York Peninsula to PNG and then down the Cape to Cairns, Craig 'Crackers' Hand is now heading down the East Coast, and still eating well ... http://www.facebook.com/FriendsofPapuaNewGuinea
