Re: Crown land shooting
Yeah youre right.
Its amazing how normally sensible people turn into nutters once they have a firearm in their hands.
I had a mate in tassie who was fairly quiet accountant type.
Put a him and a rifle together and he went thru a transformation and wanted to shoot everything that moved.

Yep, this guy was also excitable when any game appeared. So much so that he'd scare it off with his yelling when he saw it!nomad wrote:Yeah youre right.

Some people argue that if you're going to ban guns, you should ban cars. Cars kill far more people than guns. The shooter I referred to hasn't hurt anyone with a gun, but went on to drive over a scooter rider with his Troop carrier in Mitchell St about 3 years ago. It was deemed by the Supreme Court to be an accident, but clearly there are some who are more accident prone than others.....

i look at the forum as a few blokes down the pub having a yack. the topic always naturally moves on but we dont think its been hijacked.
BTW, hijackers use firearms

Sweet thanks. Man this thread has gotten out of control. It's great though just like shooting the s**t at the pub. Pun intended.
